Hire Agreement & Terms and Conditions of Hire

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to the users or damage to the Inflatable. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:

Before we arrive

1/ Please check that the access is wide enough to gain access with your chosen inflatable. The necessary width required is stipulated on our website on the product pages under the 'size' tab and also in your confirmation email which we sent when you made your booking. Almost all of our inflatables will fit through a standard sized doorway or gate.

2/ Please inform us well in advance if there are more than just 4/5 steps or if there is a steep slope(s) to get to the designated area with the inflatable. Most deliveries are made by one person.

3/ Please make sure the area where the inflatable is to be situated is on real grass outdoors, we can't anchor our inflatables on to patio's, driveways, or hard surfaces.

4/ Check that the area is free from broken glass, any sharp objects and is clean and clear of any garden furniture, toys or animal/pet excrement etc.

5/ If you have a sandpit please make it is out of bounds during your bouncy castle hire. The sand always ends up on the inflatable even when best efforts are made to avoid this happening. It scratches the surface area and is very difficult to clean and get rid of afterwards. This could incur an additional cleaning fee.

Any of the above or an accumulation of any of the above scenario's may mean our inflatable does not get left with you but the full hire charge may still be made.

Operating instructions

1/ Do NOT move or drag the inflatable. Once the area has been agreed it must stay where it is as only a qualified person can anchor it down. We also need to be happy that the area where the inflatable is situated is both safe for the users and also suitable for the inflatable itself and not in a place where to could be damaged.

2/ Height limit restrictions of the people using our inflatables, must be abided by. Adults are forbidden from using bouncy castles made for the sole use of children and can only enter to tend to a child in need.

3/ NO food, drinks, chewing gum or sweets to be allowed on the Bouncy Castle. These are choking hazards and can also leave a lot of mess and possibly stain the inflatable. (This can also incur an additional cleaning charge)

4/ All shoes, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the Bouncy Castle and socks must be worn. We also advise that glasses be removed.

5/ NO face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the Bouncy Castle. The dye within these products can cause a permanent stain and a charge will be made for the replacement of any damaged panels.

6/ NO Climbing on top of the inflatable, hanging or sitting on walls, it's DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.

7/ A responsible ADULT must supervise the Bouncy Castle at ALL TIMES

8/ Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not over-crowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of the children using it. Avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time.

9/ Your adult supervisor is to ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

10/ NO pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on the inflatable.

11/ If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day it can be switched off at the mains socket. If it is raining however if it raining please leave it switched on.

12/ Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step. The step is there to assist users getting on and off.

13/ Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems are allowed on the Bouncy Castle or any children who feel unwell.

14/ Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation.

15/ NO somersaults or acrobatics.

16/ Ensure users of the inflatable are clothed appropriately with their elbows, knees and feet covered to avoid friction burns.

17/ In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Check the inflation tube hasn't come detached from the blower or something hasn't blown onto the blower and is obstructing the blower fan from operating properly. In the event that a blower loses power switch it off at the mains socket, then try switching it back on again 5 minutes, it will restart if the blower has over heated as there is a safety cut out. If it does not, inform us straight away and we will do our best to get a replacement to you asap.

OUTDOOR HIRE

1/ The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.

2/ In the event of heavy rain please leave the Bouncy Castle switched on. This avoids rain water gathering inside the base of the inflatable.

3/ No smoking, vaping, barbeques or anything hot near the Bouncy Castle.

4/ TURN OFF THE INFLATABLE if wind speeds or gusts reach 24mph.

OVER-NIGHT HIRE

1/ When you have finished with the inflatable for the night please TURN OFF the blower at the MAINS SWITCH only. We will place extension cables/reels inside plastic velcro bags.

2/ We will provide a tarpaulin which will be pegged down next to the inflatable and leave spare pegs. Please pull the tarpaulin completely over the blower and inflatable and peg down to secure it in place.

3/ Please keep indoors over night any electrical items such as a music system that have been hired along with your inflatable. Blowers and electrical extension leads can stay outdoors, we will provide covers for plug sockets/terminals.

Before due for collection

1/ When the inflatable is finished with please sweep away any debris with a SOFT brush and where there is a lot of dirt/mud please wipe with a damp cloth (DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING PRODUCTS). We do check it over to make sure it is in a clean and tidy condition as it was when we left it with you. If it is left in an dirty condition we may make an additional cleaning charge.

2/ Please inflate the bouncy castle for at least 30 minutes or preferably an hour before collection to allow it to air/dry and so we can check it over before we pack it away.
